Job summary

Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Irvine, CA to lead complex water, wastewater and power generation projects across North America.

The role focuses on planning, execution, safety, quality and client satisfaction, with hands‑on training and exposure to high‑profile assignments. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive continuous improvement while representing MEC with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four‑year college or university.
• 10+ years of related experience in infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Competent in project control software including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and delivery of complex industrial projects across engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration and client relations.
• Drive project performance through scheduling, cost control and technical excellence.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule and budget objectives.
• Establish project procedures aligned with contractual documents and quality plans; oversee controls, schedules and budgets.
• Serve as project representative with client, general contractor, subcontractors and vendors at meetings and reviews.
