Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to lead power system designs for large-scale manufacturing facilities within our Advanced Manufacturing practice. You will coordinate utility interconnections, medium-voltage distribution, and reliability planning, working directly with clients, utilities, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, NFPA 110 and IEEE power system standards.
• PE license, or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 24 months.
• Proficiency in ETAP or SKM, and Revit and/or AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage distribution (480 V to 35 kV), including substations and switchgear.
• Lead utility coordination and service planning with providers.
• Perform and manage power system studies: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash.
