Job summary

McGough seeks an Industrial Senior Project Manager to lead large and complex construction efforts in the Agricultural Industrial market. You will direct project planning, cost control, scheduling, contracts, and field coordination while mentoring project teams and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities include pursuing opportunities, developing estimates, creating CPM schedules, managing subcontractors, and ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Industrial experience in construction and 5+ years in agricultural industrial sectors (Bio Fuels and Oilseeds)
• Experience in self-perform project environments within a unionized setting
• Proven ability to build partnerships with owners, design firms and subcontractors
• Strong risk assessment knowledge and understanding of lump sum vs cost of work plus fee environments
• Ability to supervise, mentor staff and manage complex projects with a team-oriented approach
• Familiarity with CPM scheduling (P6) and related project controls

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit, preconstruction and business development efforts for major projects
• Oversee estimating, bidding and value engineering activities
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules and coordinate with field teams
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals and shop drawings
• Oversee subcontract management including change orders and invoices
• Monitor cost control, budgeting and progress reporting
• Lead project meetings and ensure QA/QC processes are followed
• Support post-construction closeout and owner training
• Foster client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
