Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to service and optimize electrical systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, implement process improvements, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing load calculations, and coordinating with maintenance teams on projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; journeyman electrical license preferred.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLCs and operator panels software.
• Format hard drives and install PC applications.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy in a manufacturing setting.
• Read blueprints and diagnose electrical system faults.
• Perform load calculations for wiring and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of LGV equipment and operation.
• Lead projects to complete them safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Suggest process improvements and implement plans.
