Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Pooler, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support preventive and predictive maintenance of material handling systems, including mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in industrial maintenance with power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls and welding/fabrication.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related electrical/mechanical trade preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals to diagnose and repair faults.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC issues and escalate as needed.
• Operate EAM software to enter and retrieve maintenance data.
• Read and interpret schematics and engineering specifications.
• Support safety standards and participate in trainings.
