Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to provide predictive, preventive, and emergency maintenance for production and infrastructure systems. This role requires hands-on expertise with electrical and mechanical equipment and strong problem-solving abilities.

The candidate will diagnose faults, read schematics, manage work orders, and collaborate with operators to ensure peak process efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical and Instrumentation or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance (mechanical or electrical).
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex machine malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, maintenance and emergency repairs on plant electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install, repair, adjust and test equipment to maintain system performance.
• Read diagrams, blueprints, schematics and maintenance manuals.
