Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy Incorporated is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on plant electrical and mechanical systems. You will diagnose issues, install and repair equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operation across production facilities.

The role requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and strong safety compliance. A 40-hour workweek is typical; relocation assistance not specified.

Qualifications

Associates degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Must adhere to safety policies and demonstrate safe work behavior.
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on plant mechanical and electrical systems.
Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper function.
Inspect equipment to identify defects and causes of errors.
Utilize computer systems to manage work orders and document tasks.
Communicate with machine operators and coordinate with team to diagnose issues.
