Job summary

SLB is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on critical manufacturing equipment. The role requires operating an overhead crane, maintaining detailed documentation, and understanding machine monitoring programs.

You will read schematics, distinguish electrical from mechanical issues, and implement preventive maintenance recommendations. A safety-first mindset and willingness to work rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of hands-on Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership over equipment reliability.
• Collaborative, safety-first problem-solving approach.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane and other capacity lifting equipment.
• Be proficient with maintenance documentation and databases.
• Understand the machine monitoring program.
• Be proficient in the use of hand and power tools used in industrial mechanic trade.
• Read and understand schematics and drawings used in the maintenance department.
• Differentiate electrical vs mechanical repairs and troubleshoot all types of problems.
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance recommendations.
• Apply Manufacturing System principles to drive continuous improvement.
