Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly advanced General Maintenance Technician V to join our manufacturing maintenance team in Portland. This role requires expert troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, conveyors, and robotics, and the ability to work safely at heights.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical/mechanical issues, using CMMS for work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards in a large industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Six years of mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment or equivalent.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, compressors, chillers, and related equipment.
• Perform safety tasks, PPE, and work at heights when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, conveyors, and cranes.
• Operate CMMS to schedule maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Repair electrical and mechanical components.
