Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician for a fast-growing food processing operation in Blue Island, IL. This on-site role demands hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance across a three-shift plant, including welding, pump and conveyor service, and SCADA/PLC/VFD troubleshooting.

Candidates should have 480V three-phase experience, strong troubleshooting in industrial environments, CMMS familiarity, and solid knowledge of OSHA/LOTO rules.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience with 480V three-phase systems required
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in an industrial plant; food, chemical, or similar process environments preferred
• MIG and stick welding preferred
• SCADA, PLC, or VFD exposure a plus
• CMMS experience preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and LOTO required
• Comfortable in a physical environment without air conditioning

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical and electrical maintenance across a three-shift food processing plant
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems, including 480V equipment
• Weld (MIG and stick), fabricate, and rig as jobs call for it
• Install, align, and service pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, screens, and tanks
• Use SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation to track down equipment faults
• Complete PM work in the CMMS and keep work and parts records accurate
• Follow and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and OSHA rules
• Help the maintenance manager plan and prioritize work
• Be the person any shift can count on when something breaks
