Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician for a fast-growing food processing operation in Blue Island, IL. This on-site role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance across a three-shift plant with a strong emphasis on safety and lean practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience with 480V three-phase systems, welding, and CMMS, and will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience with 480V three-phase systems.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in an industrial plant; food, chemical, or similar process environments preferred.
• MIG and stick welding experience preferred.
• SCADA, PLC, or VFD exposure a plus.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and LOTO required.
• Comfortable in a physical environment without air conditioning.

Responsabilités

• Handle mechanical and electrical maintenance across a three-shift food processing plant.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems, including 480V equipment.
• Weld (MIG and stick), fabricate, and rig as jobs call for it.
• Install, align, and service pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, screens, and tanks.
• Use SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation to track down equipment faults.
• Complete PM work in the CMMS and keep work and parts records accurate.
• Follow and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and OSHA rules.
• Help the maintenance manager plan and prioritize work.
• Be the person any shift can count on when something breaks.
