Job summary

Amentum is seeking a mid-level, multi-craft Industrial Maintenance Technician for our team in Vance, AL. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of material handling equipment and charging stations in a large industrial environment.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot drives, control and communication systems, gearboxes, and related equipment, and you may monitor fleet management software and other supervisory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Three years of experience performing electrical and/or mechanical maintenance on industrial process/production equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting drives, control systems, communication systems, gearboxes, and charging units.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical/mechanical maintenance on material handling equipment and charging stations in a large industrial environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and support systems, including drives, control systems, and fleet management software.
• Monitor supervisory systems and perform other duties as required to keep operations running smoothly.
