Job summary

Repligen Corporation in Compton, CA, is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. You will start up equipment, run preventive maintenance, manage changeovers, and perform basic facility repairs while following safety rules.

You will assist the manager, supervise the maintenance team, and help schedule work to meet the manufacturing schedule.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or trade certification required.
6+ years of advanced mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and related maintenance experience.
Experience with PLC, CAD, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled equipment preferred.
Management and leadership experience required.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S/6S techniques.
Safety training including Hazwoper preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the maintenance team during projects and facility initiatives.
Perform emergency repairs and troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Execute preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and control systems.
Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work orders while maintaining maintenance records.
Oversee external vendors and contractors and ensure safety compliance.
Collaborate with Engineering, IT, OT and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
