Job summary
Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga, TN to service mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. You will follow directions from the Shift Supervisor and plant Lead Maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
The role focuses on installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading equipment; performing preventative maintenance; and supporting tooling, fixtures, and shop organization to sustain efficient operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and machinery drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and debug new equipment.
- Maintain, overhaul, and repair industrial machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Troubleshoot and modify machinery as needed.
- Prepare concise reports using CMMS and related forms.
- Assist with equipment retrofits and upgrades.
- Ensure work complies with OSHA/EPA and safety regulations.
