Job summary

Novolex in Norcross, GA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to sustain production equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance across our facility. The role focuses on keeping machines running, diagnosing issues, and implementing improvements to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of Industrial Plant Maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and proven skills with safety procedures and power tools, with a strong attention to detail and adaptability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 5 years’ experience in industrial plant maintenance / preventive maintenance procedures.
• Technical understanding and ability to deal with uncertainty.
• Experience with power tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair production machinery following diagrams and manuals; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to improve efficiency.
• Document procedures and maintenance actions accurately.
• Monitor downtime and communicate maintenance needs to production teams.
• Identify improvements and changes to maintenance routines.
• Conduct mechanical and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Inspect components with measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment per regulations.
