Job summary

NOVONIX seeks a Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga to join our world-class Maintenance and Engineering team. You will identify, manage, plan, supervise, and schedule maintenance activities for production equipment, ensuring reliability and safety.

You will perform inspections, execute tasks from open work orders, support SOPs, and help optimize preventive maintenance while collaborating with production and engineering teams in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

Mechanical and technical aptitude for industrial systems.
Experience diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.
Ability to work across production, engineering and reliability teams.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections of equipment and facility systems to proactively identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
Execute daily maintenance tasks according to open work orders, ensuring timely and effective completion.
Maintain equipment performance and reliability by following preventive maintenance schedules and protocols.
Diagnose equipment issues and contribute to performance improvements through troubleshooting and upgrades.
Assist in developing and documenting maintenance best practices and SOPs.
