Job summary

Industrial Pallet Corp in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role covers installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and rapid response to equipment issues.

Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial maintenance, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and the ability to work nights

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as needed
• Install electric motors and perform basic VFD programming
• Troubleshoot control circuits and production equipment
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machines and facility equipment
• Complete all work orders safely and in accordance with IPC processes
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unsafe conditions
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, maintenance team members, and plant leadership
• Support maintenance technicians across all shifts as needed
• Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production
• Track spare parts usage and assist with inventory management
• Work within established schedules and production requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations
