Job summary

Industrial Pallet Corp (IPC) in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am). This contract, full-time role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of conveyors, HVAC, pumps and other industrial equipment, with hands-on diagnostics and safe operation of lifts and cranes.

You will document work in CMMS, collaborate with the team, and pursue improvements to reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of experience maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment in an industrial/commercial environment.
Ability to safely work in aerial/scissor lifts at heights up to 30 feet.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (no sponsorship).
Pass a pre‑employment substance abuse test.
Valid Driver's License if required by site.
Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client's location.
Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial systems.
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, RO systems, HVAC, pumps, and motors.
Maintain facility systems including lighting, plumbing, roofing, and ventilation.
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, hoists, and cranes safely during maintenance activities.
Document maintenance and repair work in CMMS.
Recommend process improvements to enhance system performance and maintenance effectiveness.
Respond to service requests and collaborate with team members to ensure safety and compliance.
Use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments to identify and resolve issues.
