Job summary

J.S. Held LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Industrial Hygiene expertise to lead EH&S projects across insurance, industrial, maritime, and commercial sectors.

You will manage projects, support client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality environmental health and safety solutions. The role requires 8+ years in IH/EH&S with project management, strong regulatory knowledge, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, or EH&S with project management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and other regulations.
• Experience with asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, IAQ, and occupational exposures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience including mentoring and managing technical staff.
• Willingness to travel to client/project sites throughout Texas and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial hygiene and EH&S projects.
• Conduct and oversee assessments for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, IAQ, and other hazards.
• Manage field investigations, sampling programs, and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
• Serve as trusted advisor and provide risk management recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and support project teams.
• Assist with business development, including proposals and client engagement.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
