Job summary

J.S. Held in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join our Industrial Hygiene & Built Environment practice.

You will work on projects involving occupational health, indoor environmental quality, hazardous materials, and property damage assessments. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical consulting services across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, construction, government, insurance, and real estate sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years of consulting or industry experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health, or occupational safety.
AHERA Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, or Project Designer credentials.
Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, ACGIH, and relevant regulations.
Experience conducting field investigations, sampling, and exposure assessments.

Responsibilities

Conduct industrial hygiene assessments and exposure evaluations for hazards.
Perform air monitoring, IAQ investigations, moisture mapping, and environmental sampling.
Conduct asbestos, lead, mould surveys and hazardous materials assessments.
Evaluate occupational exposures and develop mitigation recommendations.
Prepare clear, defensible technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
