Job summary

J.S. Held LLC in Denver, CO is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join our Environmental Health & Safety Consulting practice.

You will work on a diverse portfolio spanning occupational health, indoor environmental quality, hazardous materials, and environmental investigations. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical consulting services to clients in commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, construction, and government sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of consulting or industry experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health, or occupational safety.
Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, ACGIH, and relevant state/local regulations.
Experience conducting field investigations, sampling, and exposure assessments.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Colorado and surrounding states as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct industrial hygiene assessments and exposure evaluations for chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
Perform air monitoring, noise monitoring, IAQ investigations, moisture mapping, and environmental sampling.
Conduct asbestos, lead, mould, and hazardous materials surveys and assessments.
Evaluate occupational exposures and develop practical recommendations to mitigate risk.
Support investigations involving fire, smoke, water, and environmental contamination events.
