Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer specialized in supply chain optimization to join our team in Welkom. You will analyze current logistics, identify bottlenecks, and implement cost- and time-saving solutions across procurement to final delivery.

The role requires strong analytical skills, programming in data analytics tools, and experience in forecasting and inventory control to drive measurable improvements in performance and efficiency within the Free State industrial landscape.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering with a focus on supply chain or logistics.
• Proven experience in optimizing inventory, transportation, and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and inventory control techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and map existing supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, warehousing, and transportation logistics.
• Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and improve order fulfillment rates.
• Design and implement improved routing and scheduling for logistics operations to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
• Monitor KPIs for the supply chain and report on performance and improvement initiatives.
