Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize supply chain and logistics operations in a hybrid role. The position focuses on analyzing networks, reducing costs, and improving efficiency across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with optimization tools, and the ability to work with operations, procurement, and customer service teams to drive measurable improvements in a global logistics

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
4–6 years in industrial engineering with focus on supply chain and logistics.
Experience analyzing and optimizing logistics operations.
Proficiency with supply chain modeling and simulation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics networks and reduce costs.
Use data analytics and modeling tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.
Design efficient warehouse layouts and material handling systems.
Collaborate with transportation providers to optimize routes, loads, and delivery schedules.
Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Develop and maintain SOPs for supply chain operations.
Monitor KPIs and report trends.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate supply chain activities.
