Nordstrom in the United States is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer I to optimize distribution and fulfillment processes across FCs and DCs, partnering with Supply Chain Operations to deliver efficient systems. You will lead data-driven improvements, time-and-motion studies, and standard work, applying lean methods and CAD layouts to redesign space and workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience, incl. 3+ years in a Supply Chain/Fulfillment environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or ISE; Master’s preferred.
• AutoCAD, Simulation, and SQL query skills highly desired.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners.
• Track record of successfully achieving priorities and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs complex data analysis to drive improvements and capacity planning.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma to optimize operations.
• Perform time and motion studies and compare to labor standards to improve productivity.
• Lead Standard Work efforts with operations and CI teams.
• Create AutoCAD layouts for space planning and process design improvements.
• Develop business cases and propose new solutions/technologies.
• Deliver data-driven solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Manage projects with focus on high impact, high complexity implementations.
