Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Capacity Engineer to continuously evaluate and improve production capacity by measuring labor, equipment and processes, and driving lean improvements.

You will work with operators and engineers to analyze data, forecast capacity, and optimize scheduling to reduce cycle time and maximize throughput, while ensuring safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and pull systems.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, productivity, manufacturing processes, and costing.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the capacity statement for the production plan and forecasts.
• Identify operational performance and communicate improvements in capacity and throughput.
• Collect, analyze, and present operational data to Engineering and Leadership.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to improve throughput and mitigate constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, waste, and costs.
• Support scheduling improvements to minimize interruptions and boost efficiency.
