Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Racine, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier assessments and audits, drive quality improvements, and support new product introductions across our global supplier base.

You will manage APQP/PPAP processes, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier performance meets cost, delivery and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, electrical, quality or industrial engineering, Masters preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality management systems

Responsibilities

• Leading supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality systems and capabilities
• Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non conformances and deviation requests.
• Driving corrective and preventive actions and implementing robust development plans to enhance supplier performance.
• Managing all aspects of Production part approval process
• Developing receiving inspection plans
