Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to own and scale our enterprise labor standards capability across manufacturing. This role drives defensible time standards, maintains a centralized repository, and ensures seamless MES integration to production planning and earned-value tracking.

The ideal candidate will lead time-study methodology decisions, govern documentation, and mentor other engineers while navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced defense hardware environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years developing and maintaining labor standards in manufacturing.
• Experience with multiple time-study methodologies and data analysis.
• Ability to integrate labor standards with MES/ERP and production planning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs for electronics and mechanical assemblies.
• Proven experience building scalable, governed time-study systems.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise labor standards capability as a long-lived asset for consistency and adoption.
• Define time-study methodologies, observation protocols, sample sizing, and documentation requirements.
• Design and deploy standardized tools and templates for time study execution.
• Establish a centralized labor standards repository with governance and archiving.
• Own MES integration: match validated times to work instructions and load into MES.
• Define triggers across the NPI maturity plan for standards development and locking.
• Manage ECO-driven updates to standards and propagate changes to MES.
• Lead high-stakes time studies and train embedded IEs across programs.
• Identify labor variation hotspots and drive re-study or method improvements.
• Translate standards into actionable line balancing, capacity planning, and cost estimates.
