Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior (or Experienced) Industrial Engineer for the 777x production engineering team in Berkeley, MO. You will optimize products, processes and services, developing layouts, capacity plans and workflows to meet program requirements.

Responsibilities include designing production systems, conducting workflow analysis, and creating models and metrics for leadership. Relocation is available; safety and ergonomic standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing setting.
• 5+ years applying advanced production engineering principles.
• Experience with capacity planning, manpower forecasting, line balancing, time and motion studies, process modeling and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Applies industrial engineering concepts to product, process and services to meet program requirements.
• Develops plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans and workflows.
• Evaluates new techniques and tech developments for production integration.
• Designs, maintains and optimizes the production system with design, supply base, facilities, equipment and personnel.
• Conducts workflow design and analysis.
• Develops data models, databases and spreadsheets for leadership and customers.
