Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an experienced engineer to lead labor management initiatives across a national DC network. You will perform time studies, define best methods, and build tools to track productivity and throughput while guiding senior and junior staff.

You will analyze data, justify capital projects with ROI, and partner with operations to implement efficient material handling concepts. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering required.
• 4+ years in projects related to process and material handling systems design and productivity improvement.
• Experience with time study methodologies and cost analysis for project justification.

Job description

Position OverviewThis role supports Burlington Stores Supply Chain organization by leading and contributing to initiatives that improve productivity, reduce operating expenses, maximize throughput, and enhance workplace safety through data-driven reporting and analysis. Serving as Burlington Stores subject matter expert in labor management, the position provides guidance and policy recommendations to Distribution Center (DC) leadership across a national logistics network. The role partners closely with DC operations leadership and supports complex, cross-functional projects and ad hoc assignments aligned to business objectives. Responsibilities may periodically require night or weekend work based on operational needs.
