Job summary

Amentum seeks an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to support our maintenance team in Rio Rancho, NM. The role focuses on advanced electrical work for HVAC and CNC equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and control circuits.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance via CMMS, and mentoring less experienced technicians. Candidates must meet safety standards and be able to operate at heights and around heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work in aerial lifts and at heights up to 30 feet.
• MV electrical experience and safety training (NFPA 70E, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Safely diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V AC.
• Calibrate instrumentation and controls for optimal performance.
• Program/modify ladder logic PLCs and HMIs; support control systems upgrades.
