Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations & maintenance team in Rio Rancho, NM. This role focuses on advanced electrical and controls support for HVAC, CNC production equipment, conveyors, motors, and related systems.

The position involves PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, and others), HMI work, and maintaining up to 480V systems. Strong safety focus and ability to train others are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Five years of experience performing electrical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Ability to operate at heights up to 30 feet and work in an industrial setting.
• Training in Basic Electrical Safety, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V.
• Calibrates instrumentation and controls for optimum performance.
• Procures parts from OEM or approved vendors.
• Ensures work conforms to NEC and safety guidelines.
• Mentors less skilled technicians and communicates with management and customers.
