Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations and maintenance team in the Rio Rancho, NM area. The role focuses on advanced electrical and control system work for HVAC, CNC production equipment, conveyors, motors, and lighting, using PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, programming ladder logic, maintaining safety standards, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform electrical maintenance and respond to work orders.
• Troubleshoot, service, and document electrical and control systems up to 480V.
• Program ladder logic and PLCs and maintain HMIs.
• Calibrate instrumentation and ensure NEC compliance.
• Mentor and train less skilled technicians as needed.
