Job summary
Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations and maintenance team. This role provides advanced expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, servicing, and documenting electrical and controls for HVAC, CNC production equipment, conveyors, motors, lighting, and cranes.
Responsibilities include programming ladder logic/PLCs, PLCs across brands, HMIs, and maintaining control systems up to 480V.
Qualifications
- Five years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to program ladder logic / PLCs and work with multiple PLC brands.
- Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and control circuits.
Responsibilities
- Safely diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V AC.
- Program ladder logic PLCs and HMIs; work with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other vendors.
- Lead preventive maintenance and document work in CMMS; mentor junior technicians.
- Communicate with site management and customer to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with NEC guidelines and electrical safety standards.
