Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician IV to join our operations and maintenance team in Rio Rancho, NM. This role provides an advanced level of electrical expertise, troubleshooting, service, and documentation for HVAC-related equipment and CNC production systems, including conveyors, motors, lighting, control circuits, VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs.

The ideal candidate will program ladder logic PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Wago, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, PLC-5), work up to 480V,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors.
• Knowledge of NEC, safety regs and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform electrical maintenance and repairs per safety guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment and control circuits up to 480V.
• Program ladder logic PLCs and HMI, and handle VFDs.
• Mentor less skilled technicians and communicate with management and customers.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and document findings.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and safety regulations.
