Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a licensed Senior Electrician to join a growing manufacturing maintenance and engineering team in Newark, New Jersey.

This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday (6:30am–4:30pm) with occasional Saturday work; compensation is $45.50–$50.50 per hour plus extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and a 401k.

The ideal candidate will install, maintain and repair industrial electrical systems, read schematics, lead safety practices and support system upgrades.

Qualifications

• NJ Class A Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety practices.
• Experience with 3-phase AC 120/208/480 V and DC 12/24 V systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Lead safe work practices, including LOTO and electrical safety procedures.
• Support electrical system upgrades, studies, and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Provide guidance and support to other electricians.
