Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation in Reading, PA is seeking a Senior Industrial Electrician (Area 6) to lead electrical maintenance on heavy industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems on the shop floor, and mentor other craft personnel to uphold high reliability and safety standards.

Qualifications

5 years' experience as qualified craft personnel (Electrical Discipline) in a heavy industrial environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with PLC, HMI, drives, power distribution and related equipment; reading diagrams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial electrical systems on the mill floor.
Coach and mentor other craft personnel and support the Maintenance Coordinator/Planner.
Ensure work is performed to the highest standards and in accordance with work management processes.
