Job summary

Engineering Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for on-site work in Reading, PA. The role emphasizes power distribution design for industrial facilities, project engineering, and producing complete construction document packages.

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent experience.
Strong background in power distribution design, including medium voltage.
Hands-on electrical system design capability plus AutoCAD drafting/modeling.
Advanced knowledge of NEC/NESC and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

Provide power distribution design and project engineering for industrial facilities.
Produce construction document packages, including drawings and specifications.
Develop one-lines, schematics, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
Size cables/conduits and interpret related controls drawings.
Perform field inspections to verify site conditions and readiness.
