Job summary

SAMUEL EPC in Abilene, TX seeks a Senior Construction Supervisor to plan, coordinate and manage craft activities on EPC projects. You will work with site foremen, craft workers and engineers to deliver safe, on-time construction in line with project standards.

The role requires seven years in heavy industrial settings, familiarity with construction methods, and strong leadership. You will monitor schedules, budgets and safety programs, and interface with clients and subcontractors to ensure

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.
• Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.
• Ability to effectively interact with project team members, craft employees, clients, and subcontractors.
• Possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to effectively manage craft employees, budgets, and construction schedules.
• Must have had previous hands-on job foreman experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and/or supervise construction activities of site foremen, craft employees, and field engineers on assigned project.
• Interface with Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, client representatives, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Review constructability with the goal of meeting quality, cost and schedule commitments.
• Explain equipment, material and personnel needs and testing requirements for the department.
• Represent company during bid process, project scope development, and client meetings.
