Job summary

SAMUEL EPC is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to provide technical support to management in implementing and maintaining corporate HSE programs for large-scale projects.

The role includes leading risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and compliance audits, coordinating with project teams to ensure regulatory adherence. This project-based position requires on-site work and flexible scheduling across locations, including Abilene, TX.

Qualifications

• Must have risk assessment/management experience.
• Administrative policies and procedures knowledge.
• EPC industry experience is required.
• Familiarity with project budgets and tools.
• Knowledge of project controls.
• Strong planning, leadership and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, meetings and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement workplace HSE plans and procedures.
• Evaluate HSE practices and procedures for risk assessment and legal compliance.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Inspect projects for unsafe conditions and monitor employee conformity to HSE policies.
• Plan, conduct and document safety training and emergency response exercises.
• Ensure adherence to manuals, policies, contract documents and regulations.
