Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a large-scale industrial project in Minnesota. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee all electrical work from preconstruction through closeout, liaising with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews.

The role requires a strong knowledge of industrial power systems, 7+ years in electrical PM, and OSHA 30 or ability to obtain. Expect high-volume procurement, complex scheduling, and team mentoring opportunities.

Qualifications

• In-depth electrical engineering and construction management knowledge.
• 7+ years in electrical project management for industrial work.
• 5+ years related experience, including self-perform capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of power distribution, grounding, switchgear, controls.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical work for large industrial projects.
• Lead preconstruction efforts, scheduling, and procurement.
• Oversee field installation, safety, and quality.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Mentor Asst. PMs and PEs; support Lean initiatives.
