Eagle Materials Inc., a leading American manufacturer of cement, wallboard, paperboard, concrete and aggregates, seeks a Corporate Electrical Engineer to lead automation across our facilities in a staff role at the corporate office. You will support all business units with electrical scope, project design, and safety compliance.

Travel is required 3–5 days per month. Candidates typically have 5–10 years in heavy industrial environments and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in heavy industrial market.
• Experience as a consultant within an engineering firm that also provides construction services is preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
• Provide input for specifications, drawings, cable schedules, and schematics.
• Ensure safety of new systems, equipment, and design; update arc flash studies.
• Oversight of contracts with Legal; manage 3rd party contractors for on-time delivery.
• Develop project reporting, KPIs, and progress updates across electrical scope.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and plan resource scheduling.
• Lead electrical scope FEED studies and power system analyses.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to understand plant equipment and power needs.
