Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials seeks an industrial electrician/controls technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors and power distribution. You will perform preventive maintenance and rapid repairs to minimize downtime.

Work is on a fixed shift with overtime and weekend coverage as needed. A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or in a team are essential to deliver reliable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical/control systems (24V–480V).
• High school diploma or GED; associates degree or equivalent in automation/controls or related field.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing and running continuous production processes.
• Understanding of NFPA 70E and safe electrical work practices.
• Solid PC skills and familiarity with common PC applications.
• Ability to work in a team or independently with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status.
• Provide plant-wide electrical coverage and troubleshoot on fixed shift basis.
• Perform rotating weekend call-in coverage and overtime as needed.
