Job summary

Allegion invites a Senior/Master-Level Controls & Industrial Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing operations. You will rapidly isolate and repair root-cause electrical, mechanical, and control-loop failures on active production lines during critical downtime windows.

You will read and interpret US/EU electrical schematics, calibrate sensors, and configure VFDs and servo systems while following UL508A and NEC standards. Strong diagnostic and hands-on skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on industrial electrical/controls diagnostics in high-volume manufacturing.
• Associate degree or completed certified apprenticeship in Industrial Electronics/Automation.
• Able to navigate production floors, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• System Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis: trace faults from 480V three-phase down to 5–24V logic loops.
• Schematic & Logic Literacy: read, interpret and reverse-engineer industrial schematics and ladder logic.
• Panel Fabrication & Wiring: build and modify control panels per UL508A and NEC standards.
• Instrumentation & Drives: calibrate sensors and configure VFDs/servo systems.
• Diagnostic Tools: use multimeters, scopes, megohmmeters, and loop calibrators.
