Job summary

Solenis is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance professional for our Kentucky site in Florence. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, lead root cause analysis, and drive preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include supporting installations, reading PLC/HMI programs, and coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and vendors to deliver capital projects while maintaining safety, GMP, and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems and machine controls.
• Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, VLANs, managed switches).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings and manuals.
• Proficient with 480V three-phase systems, motor controls, breakers, relays, and safety devices.
• Experience with root cause analysis, reliability initiatives, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work overtime as needed.

• Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians on electrical and controls systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMPs, LOTO, Arc Flash, NFPA, and NEC requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, OEMs, and vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of industrial networking ( EtherNet /IP, Profinet , VLANs, managed switches).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Working knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, breakers, relays, and safety devices.
• Experience with root cause analysis, reliability initiatives, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work overtime as required .

Preferred Qualifications

• CMRT, CRL, Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, or Ultrasound Certifications.
• Rockwell, Siemens S7, or FANUC Automation Certifications.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).

The expected compensation range for this position is between $63,830.00 and $93,610.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
