Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Industrial Controls Technician to ensure reliability and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment in Huntsville. You will support state-of-the-art factories and integrate CNC and automation systems to enable IIoT initiatives.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, robots, and safety systems, plus collaboration with the Factory Automation team to optimize processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial CNC control systems (Siemens 840D-SL, FANUC 30i/31i/32i)
• 3+ years with automation software development environments (Siemens TIA Portal, FANUC PMC)
• 3+ years with PLCs, robotics, CNC and industrial safety systems

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and modify electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and safety control systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and modify ladder logic.
• Connect and integrate CNC equipment into Blue networks to support IIoT initiatives.
• Collaborate with Factory Automation to optimize automated equipment.
