Job summary

Cybertrol Engineering seeks an Industrial Controls & Systems Integration Engineer for a hybrid role in Madison, WI. You will develop PLC/HMI code, create clear Functional Specifications, and work with Digital Manufacturing, Hardware, and Industrial IT teams to deliver complete projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in industrial automation.
• Associate degree with 5+ years in industrial automation.
• Proficient in programming and delivering projects in a team.
• Technical leadership to guide and coach teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Curiosity and agility in problem solving.

• Desire to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC/HMI code, including simulation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Create Functional Specifications and PLC/HMI programs in a team setting.
• Partner with Digital Manufacturing, Hardware, and Industrial IT engineers to deliver projects.
• Lead commissioning, ensure zero-defect code, and maintain customer relationships.
• Provide technical leadership and system-level thinking on projects.
• Travel up to 25% for product lifecycle, shows, or related travel.
