Insight Global is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, install, startup, and troubleshoot automated control systems in a chemical manufacturing setting. The role involves heavy work with PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, instrumentation, and industrial networking, supporting both new and existing plant processes.
The position is a 12-month contract-to-hire with on-site work in Fremont, CA. Qualifications include 2+ years in controls engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and
Formación
- 2+ years of relevant controls engineering experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience programming PLC and/or DCS systems in industrial settings (Siemens, Rockwell, ControlLogix, CompactLogix).
- Experience with AVEVA InTouch HMI, Historian, and System Platform.
- Previous chemical plant operations experience.
- Experience with safe gas and chemical handling procedures.
