Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience programming PLC/DCS for chemical plant design and operation.
• Knowledge of instrument engineering and applicable codes/standards for process control hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and support plant control system hardware, software and field instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot control system hardware and software and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in Design Reviews and PHAs as a team member or leader.
• Configure and program PLC, DCS and SCADA control systems.
• Work with highly hazardous chemicals at a manufacturing facility.
• Establish engineering design basis and support related documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, specs).
• Assist with loop tests and interlock tests for new processes and ISO checks.
• On call for nights, weekends and holidays.
