Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer to join the Logistics Worldwide Central Engineering team in Bellevue, WA. You will challenge existing processes, equipment, and electrical/controls specs to design innovative, scalable automation for last-mile operations.
You will own the development life cycle from design through testing and operations, lead cross-functional design reviews, and collaborate with global teams to deploy robust MHE control solutions and vision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in developing control strategies in CODESYS.
- Experience with Functional Safety standards (IEC 62061, IEC 13849, IEC 61508).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial control systems for MHE across Amazon Logistics North America.
- Lead multiple high-visibility projects and design reviews for control systems.
- Coordinate with global design teams and vendors.
- Drive process improvements and technical implementation for automation.
- Review and integrate new MHE technologies.
