Atlas OT LLC seeks a Principal Controls Engineer to set the technical direction for automation and controls across industries. You will serve as the final technical authority on RTU, PLC, SCADA, and DCS programs, shaping standards, testing, and deployment at scale.

The role combines technical leadership with business development and client engagement. You will mentor teams, define engineering standards, and lead high-stakes projects globally, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; advanced credentials preferred (ISA CAP, PE).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience with large control systems across multiple sites.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading standards governance.
• Experience in designing secure OT networks and complying with IEC 62443.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Atlas OT’s 5-year technology roadmap.
• Be the final technical authority on multi-platform programs.
• Govern code libraries and IEC 61131-3 standards.
• Architect secure OT network designs with IEC 62443 compliance.
• Lead advanced process control, alarm rationalization, and safety optimization.
• Estimate project hours and BOMs for strategic pursuits.
• Contribute to business development with technical leadership.
